FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate for wildland fires

FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate from SOLBERG is a synthetic firefighting foam concentrate specially designed to be used for wildland, structural and other Class A fuel fires. The foam concentrate is biodegradable and non-toxic, so it is environmentally sustainable.  FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate has the ability to reduce the surface tension of water, which substantially increases water overall wetting capability. This creates a faster penetration and greater fire control when attacking combustible Class A fuels. FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate is proportioned at a rate of 0.1% - 1.0% in fresh, salt or brackish water. FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate (including pre-mixed solution) is designed and applied to Class A fires including wood, paper, coal rubber, and structure fires. FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate is compatible with conventional firefighting equipment such as non-air aspirating and air aspirating foam nozzles, Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS), rotary and fixed wing aircraft, low, medium and high expansion devices, balanced pressure pump systems, bladder tank systems and educators (with metering orifice). Recommended application rates FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate on wildland fires:• Mop-up: 0.25%• Fire Brake: 0.75%• Initial Suppression: 0.5%• Protection: 1.0% The minimum admixture rate on other Class A fuel types is 0.1%. FIRE-BRAKE foam concentrate meets NFPA 298 and is listed on USDA Forest Service (USFS) QPL.

Solberg Foam RF 3% x 6% ATC Foam - 20L

FoamSol08

Solberg Foam RF 3% x 6% ATC Foam - 20L Re-Healing Foam - RF3 x 6 ATC 3-6% -8°C RE-HEALING FOAM™ RF 3 x 6 is a new, environmentally benign, synthetic alcohol resistant foam concentrate used to effectively extinguish fires of flammable liquids (Class 'B') at 3% on hydrocarbon and at 6% on polar solvent. It is a real AR-FFFP and AR-AFFF alternative withoutfluoro surfactant or organ halogen ingredients. For maximum security of fire fighters the product possesses excellent burnback characteristics due to its re-healing capabilities of a rapidly resealing a foam blanket. Most commonly available foam aspirating equipment as well as non aspirating equipment, including standard sprinkler heads, can be used to obtain maximum results. The compatibility with most powders provides the possibility to attack 3 Dimensional fires. Not only can it be used in case of fire fighting but also for covering of a liquid spill to prevent re-ignition and it can also be used to minimise smell inconvenience, due to the excellent vapour suppressing capabilities. On Class ‘A’ fires it will improve extinguishment in case of deep seated fires. RE-HEALING foam concentrates can be proportioned at the proper foam solution percentage using common foam proportioning devices such as: educators, inline balanced pressure proportion's, ratio controllers, and self-educting nozzles. Solberg manufactured products are thoroughly inspected and undergo rigorous quality control tests. These evaluations analyze the foam’s physical parameters as well as the finished product’s fire performance.

Solberg Foam RF3 3% B Class Foam

FoamSol003

Solberg Foam RF3 3% B Class Foam RE-HEALING™ foam concentrates from SOLBERG are an innovative environmentally sustainable fluorosurfactant and fluoropolymer-free firefighting foam used to effectively extinguish Class B fuels with no environmental concerns for persistence, bioaccumulation or toxic breakdown. RE-HEALING foam concentrates can be used in fresh, salt or brackish water and possess excellent burn back resistance due to its remarkable flow and rapid sealing characteristics. SOLBERG RE-HEALING foam concentrates are formulated using a new high performance synthetic foam technology to replace traditional AFFF and AR-AFFF foam concentrates and older fluoroprotein foams.RE-HEALING foam concentrates are intended for use on Class B hydrocarbon and polar solvent fuel fires. Concentrates are available in 3%, 6% and 3x6 ATC formulations. RE-HEALING foam concentrates can be used to prevent re-ignition of a liquid spill and control hazardous odors, and will improve extinguishment in deep-seated fires.Foam non-air aspirating discharge devices as well as air aspirating discharge devices including standard sprinkler heads, can be used to obtain maximum results. The concentrates can also be used as a pre-mix solution. Re-HEALING foam concentrates are compatible with most dry powder agents, and provides even greater fire protection against three-dimensional fires.RE-HEALING foam concentrates can be proportioned at the proper foam solution percentage using common foam proportioning devices such as: eductors, inline balanced pressure proportioners, ratio controllers, and self-educting nozzles.Solberg manufactured products are thoroughly inspected and undergo rigorous quality control tests. These evaluations analyze the foam’s physical parameters as well as the finished product’s fire performance.

Solberg High Expansion Foam - 20L Drum

FoamSol07

ARCTIC HI-EX FOAM is a synthetic, foaming agent containing, among other ingredients, a blend of hydrocarbon based surface active agents. It is a foam liquid of the type Synthetic Detergent and specially designed to be used in medium and high expanding, air aspirating foam generators to produce foam with expansion ratios from 200:1 to more than 1000:1 depending of the type of generator. Used as high expansion foam the product is primarily used to extinguish fires in inaccessible areas, like warehouses, with displacement of air as main extinguish mechanism. The induction rate for ARCTIC HI-EX FOAM is 1-2% and the generated foam shows very good fire suppression capability. The low mixture rate makes ARCTIC HI-EX FOAM economical to use. ARCTIC HI-EX FOAM is a state of the art product with low environmental impact and virtually non-toxic ARCTIC HI-EX FOAM can be applied simultaneously to a fire situation where other types of foam are already in use. Properties:• Visual: Clear, transparent liquid• Minimum use temp: 2°C • Storage temp: <50°C• Sediments: None

Solberg RF6 6% B Class Foam - 20L Drum
