The PX Series thermoplastic, contemporary style structural fire helmet is a rugged design that will not scratch, crack or chip like fibreglass. It also resists degradation better after repeated high heat exposures. Certified to NFPA 1971-2013, this helmet incorporates recommendations from veteran fire professionals from around the world. A low centre of gravity provides PX models with a balanced and stable fit, increasing overall comfort. The Bullard Sure-Lock® ratchet headband adjusts to the wearer’s head with a quick turn of the knob. PX helmets feature 3M Scotchlite® striping, which retains reflectivity to 500° F (260° C). That makes Scotchlite the toughest material available for helmet markings. This series includes a model that meets the Australian Standard AS4067 for firefighter head protection. Now Adjustable: Another CMC Rescue innovation thoroughly field tested by CMC Rescue School instructors and now widely being used by rescuers worldwide, the newly adjustable Sunbrero fits over your helmet to block the sun from your face, ears, and the back of your neck. Its black under surface prevents sun reflection, and it also works well in the rain. Made of durable, 1,000-denier CORDURA® nylon fabric, the improved Sunbrero now features a wider elastic band with hook-and-loop adjustability, which grips securely to the headlamp retainer clips on most helmets. Working-At-Height / Industrial Rope Access / Technical Rope Rescue Working at height requires reliable, quality equipment. The Sunbrero™ rescue helmet sun visor can be used with confidence in work-at-height maneuvers for industrial rope access or technical rope rescue when used in accordance with the regulatory safety standards it falls under. Always use life safety equipment and gear according to the regulatory safety standards for which it is classified and/or certified.
