Compact, de-contaminable, durable and adaptable, the HMH Sked Stretcher is ideal in mass-casualty and hazardous materials incidents. It can be dragged over virtually any terrain including stairways and can be rapidly deployed by one person. Made of medium-density polyethylene plastic, the HMH Sked withstands high temperatures and is unbreakable as low as 120 degrees Fahrenheit below zero. Mass Casualty Incidents: The HMH Sked can be stored flat on pallets with the straps packaged separately, which allows quick movement of a large number of stretchers to an incident with a large number of patients, such as a plane crash or explosion. Pallets of 50 to 200 HMH stretchers can be moved by truck or airlifted by helicopter to facilitate the rapid movement of patients. Haz-Mat Incidents: Doing anything in Level A and B protective suits is difficult. The HMH Sked allows a patient or a downed rescuer to be quickly rolled onto the stretcher and pulled out of the hot zone by rescuers a rope length away. Polypropylene straps are resistant to chemicals and the two-inch side-release buckles are easy to operate even with thick gloves. Weight: 6.1kg Colour: Yellow
Compact storage, ease of use, and flexibility in transport.
The original and still the best solution for confined space, high angle or technical rescue, and traditional land based applications, the Sked stretcher is a revolutionary design whichprovides outstanding patient protection and security. The Sked comes equipped for horizontal hoisting by helicopter or vertical hoisting in caves or industrial confined spaces. When the patient is packaged the stretcher becomes rigid. The durable plastic provides protection for the patient while allowing extrication through the most demanding confined spaces. The stretcher is rolled for storage in a tough cordura backpack which is included with the system. The system ships at 8.62kg and comes complete for most applications. Available in International Orange, made in USA. Each Sked Basic Rescue System comes complete with:• The Sked Stretcher; The stretcher is fabricated from a special plastic formula which is both flexible and durable. Securing straps with steel buckles are sewn into the stretcher through brass grommets which contribute to the strength and durability.• Cordura backpack/Towing Harness; This durable backpack includes shoulder straps and pockets for storing the Sked accessories when not in use.• Horizontal Lift Slings; A pair of 4,082kg. tensile strength slings are provide for hoisting the Sked stretcher with a helicopter or other haul system in a horizontal position.• Vertical Lift Sling; For vertical lifting of the Sked, 9.14m of 9.52mmm PMI kernmantle rescue rope, with a minimum break strength of 2,388kg, is provided with a figure 8 knot in the middle.• Steel Locking 'D' Karabiner; The karabiners are not included for sale in the UK market as they are not CE marked.•Tow Strap; This 1.82m strap with bronze snap hooks on each end attaches the Sked stretcher to the backpack, creating a useful towing harness which can be used in several configurations for towing the Sked by one or more people.• Removable Webbing Handles; In addition to the four handles sewn permanently into the Sked stretcher, four additional removable handles are provided to allow the Sked to be carried by up to 8 rescuers.
The original and still the best! The Spider Strap is unmatched for ease of use and effective immobilisation. You can quickly and securely strap your patient to a backboard or stretcher in seconds, time after time. • Spiders Straps are a body restraining system primarily for use with Spineboards.• The 6 straps thread through the board and secure around the patient using high strength velcro.• A Complete system to immobilise a patient on a spineboard. The whole set of straps are connected together to form one harness.• A very effective way to hold a patient onto a spineboard.• Made from Polypropylene and supplied in Multi-Colours• An All-Black version is available to special order• Machine Washable
The Advantage Basket Stretcher is a complete redesign from any other plastic style basket stretcher available today. The fully-internal stainless steel frame provides a 1134 kg (11 kN) strength rating while giving a single-plane sliding surface on the bottom. The outer High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) shell is attached to the top tube, allowing the secondary rail to be completely exposedto provide full options for tying in your patient for the most technical rescue. Generous cut-out sections in the shell provide loads of exposed top rail for handling, and the 22 mm tubing allows for a more comfortable grip. The patientpad is made of closed-cell foam that will not allow fluids to soak into, and is able to withstand even the harshest cleaning agents. It is glued in such a manner that allows it to be removed and replaced if required. Standard on the Advantage Basket Stretcher is the patented StratLoad attachment points. Key Features:• Plastic outer shell• Full internal stainless steel frame• Designed for technical use as well as general use• Standard StratLoad attachment points• Foam patient pad• 1134 kg (11 kN) strength rating• Supplied with four steel double bar restraints
The Traverse Restraint Strap is designed for use on all Traverse basket stretchers and Squadra Ski Patrol toboggans as well as backboards and other immobilization devices. Constructed of 43mm seat belt webbing and steel plated self-locking adjuster buckles, this restraint strap uses a two-bar, three bar steel pass through buckle. It is made with a looped end that attaches to the basket stretcher or the toboggan, and a free end that that is used to tighten the restraint, making it easier to connect. To release it, a simple pull on the red release tab and the restraint strap loosens it. Specifications: • 43mm Restraint with Metal Buckle,2pc, Black. • Weight Load Rating: 226.7 Kg • Quick Connect Buckle Minimum Tensile Strength:17.8 kN
Featuring StratLoad™ Attachment PointsA complete re-thinking of the classic Stokes military-style litters, our Rescue Litter features a full one-inch diameter top rail to make the litter easier to handle when carried for extended periods. Durathene™ netting eliminates cuts and scrapes caused by broken wires. Back support is molded, highdensity polyethylene for greater durability. The steep-sided design allows a narrower litter with the same width at the bed, which accepts standard-sized backboards. The narrow width and rounded ends provide greater maneuverability in tight locations. The Stainless Steel Rescue Litter comes with four quick-attachment litter straps. Unique Patient Packaging and Extrication System combines backboard immobilization of a Short Board along with the suspension and support of a full body harness. The PAK System utilizes an integrated polyethylene board along the back of the harness system to reduce wear and allow for a smooth sliding surface for confined space operations. Grab handles located on the sides and head of PAK aid rescuers during movement of patient through confined spaces. Pack System is very useful for any confined space operations where a vertical environment is encountered. SPEC PAK is a fully certified lifting harness (ANSI Z359.1-1992), thus eliminating the need for a separate victim harness. Unique self-adjusting cervical restraint eliminates the problem associated with lifting patients vertically while secured to a rigid backboard. SPEC PAK in only intended as a limited spinal immobilization system. SPEC PAK must be used with proper spinal immobilization such as the use of a "Cervical Collar" where conditions and protocols dictate. Designed by Spec Rescue International and Yates Gear Inc. Patent Pending.
