The Hot Shield® HS-2 Wildland Firefighter Face Mask is a lightweight face and neck protection system designed by firefighters for firefighters. Manufactured from patented CarbonX® inherently non-flammable fabric, the HS-2 provides outstanding protection against radiant heat, embers and flame exposure commonly encountered in wildland and bushfire operations.
In addition to thermal protection, the HS-2 helps reduce the inhalation of airborne smoke, ash and soot particulates through its integrated filter pocket, supplied with an N95 activated carbon filter featuring an exhalation valve. The lightweight and comfortable design hangs around the neck until required, allowing rapid deployment during changing fireground conditions.
Reflective 3M™ Scotchlite™ trim improves visibility in low-light conditions, while the breathable twin-layer CarbonX mesh construction promotes airflow and helps reduce carbon dioxide build-up.
